IOSCO releases securities markets risk outlook for 2014-2015
Following the publication of its first Securities Markets Risk Outlook the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) has published a second
securities markets risk outlook for 2014/2015, which deals with important trends and risks in securities markets which may be of concern from a systemic
perspective.
The document identifies risks relation to:
- the search for yield and the return of leverage in the financial system;
- the search for yield and volatility affecting emerging markets;
- risks in central clearing;
- the increased use of collateral and risk transfer; and
- governance and culture of financial firms.
