Consultation in relation to amendments to the legislation covering “Tipping off” offences
The Chief Minister’s Department is conducting a short, closed consultation in relation to amendments to the legislation covering “Tipping off” offences.
The final date for responses is Friday 23 May 2014
The short consultation period on this occasion is due to the upcoming summer recess of the States of Jersey Assembly and the requirement to have the draft Regulations in force by the time the island is reviewed in relation to AML/CFT compliance in September 2014.
Mindful of the short period of time available for responding, the consultation has been made available as an online survey click here
This survey should be completed alongside a consideration of the draft Proceeds of Crime and Terrorism (Tipping Off-Exceptions) (Jersey) Regulations 201- click here
Whilst Government’s strong preference is (where possible) for respondents to use the online survey, a standard Consultation Paper has also been prepared, replicating the questions in the online survey – click here
