SOCA publishes annual plan 2012/13 – The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) has published its seventh annual plan for 2012/13 in which it outlines the following priorities:
• dislocating criminal markets where SOCA has the lead responsibility and supporting other agencies in areas where they are leading. These will be outlined in the new Organised Crime Strategy;
• managing systematically all SOCA Persons of Interest whose organised crime impacts on the UK by using effective information management and planned interventions;
• increasing law enforcement against organised criminals at reduced cost, and achieving criminal convictions against the most serious offenders; and
• supporting the transition of SOCA into the National Crime Agency.
A copy of the annual plan is available.
