Transparency International, the leading civil society organisation fighting corruption worldwide, will release its 24th annual Corruption Perceptions Index on Tuesday 29 January 2019 at 06:01 CET (00:01 EST).
Transparency International’s flagship research product, the Corruption Perceptions Index is the leading global indicator of public-sector corruption, offering an annual snapshot of the relative degree of corruption. The index for 2018 ranks 180 countries and territories drawing on 13 expert assessments and surveys of businesspeople.
Additional analysis of the 2018 results explores the relationship between corruption and the global crisis in democracy.
